Simple, just corrupt the wish of the person above you, just remember to make your wish at the end!
Example:
Mem1: I wish for all the money in the world
Mem2: Granted, but we stopped using money yesterday. I wish for superstrength
Mem3: Granted, but your muscles just broke your bones. I wish for etc.
I HAS NO WISH

I wish JRPGs would give up the confused notion that random battles and grinding are fun in any sense of the word. Even sarcastic.
